Recruit Secure, LLC is collaborating with a very large (350 ++ bed) Skilled Nursing Home located in the Bronx area that is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Educator and Infection Control Officer for direct hire.   The ADON mentors and supports the nursing staff and is responsible for maintaining the quality of care in the facility.  The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in Staff Development, proven and in-depth experience with Infection Control policies, guidelines, and reporting, and several years of Supervisory experience in Skilled Nursing Homes.  The company is very stable and successful and there are opportunities for continued professional growth. A competitive salary, full benefits package, 401k, Employee Recognition programs, and other perks are offered.

Some Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• BRN degree preferred but not mandatory
• Current NY- RN License – a must
• Certifications - A BIG plus, e.g., - CDC certifications, Train-the-Trainer (but not mandatory)
• Lead staff education programs and serve as the Infection Control Officer
• Experience (at least 2 -3 years) working in a supervisory role in a Skilled Nursing Home - a must
• 1+ years’ experience working with Infection Control policies, procedures and reporting
• In-depth understanding of Infectious protocols and regulatory compliance
• Ability to plan, develop, direct, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs
• Knowledgeable about State and Federal regulations and compliance guidelines
• Develop, maintain, and revise patient care policies as needed
• Strong problem-resolution skills
