Recruit Secure is collaborating with a 150+ bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Philadelphia, PA that is seeking an ADON- Infection Control RN – Nurse Educator. The ADON will be responsible for the day to day nursing activities and maintaining quality of care throughout the entire facility.  Additionally, they will oversee the management, assessment and staff education within the facility and ensure that all policies and programs are followed The successful candidate will have supervisory experience in Skilled Nursing Homes, in-depth knowledge of infection control protocols, and have great communication skills to interact with physicians, families and the nursing staff.

Requirements:

• BRN degree preferred but not mandatory
• Current PA RN License 
• Certification - APIC – CIC OR CDC certification OR be willing to be certified
• Experience (at least 2 -3 years) working as a Supervisor, Assistant Director of Nursing in a skilled Nursing Home a must
• 1+ years’ experience working with Infection Control policies, procedures and reporting
• In-depth understanding of Infectious protocols and regulatory compliance
• Ability to plan, develop, direct, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs
• Knowledgeable with State and Federal regulations and compliance guidelines
• Experience developing and fostering collaborative teams
• Develop, maintain, and revise patient care policies as needed
• Strong problem resolution skills
