Description

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a Skilled Nursing Home located in the Trenton, NJ area that is seeking an HR Coordinator - Employee Relations for direct hire. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible to support the day-to-day duties of the human resources department including supporting employee programs, recruitment, and meeting healthcare regulatory compliance.  The ideal candidate should have a strong employee relations background and possess good interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling all aspects of Human Resources including, employee morale programs, employee disciplines, changes in payroll status, terminations, resignations, benefits, I-9, worker's compensation disability, and FMLA.
  • Ensure that the Facility is in compliance with all regulatory authorities including the Department of Health.
  • Manage recruitment needs by determining open positions, being aggressive in recruitment efforts, screening, and interviewing applicants

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in HR 
  • Experience handling Employee Relations issues.
  • At least 1-2 years experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility)
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
