Description

Recruit Secure is collaborating with an established and successful healthcare company that is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT)- in the Philadelphia, PA area (there are 4 facilities in various parts of the city and area) for direct hire. The Physical Therapist will be working in each of these facilities to plan, organize, and deliver Physical Therapy Services to the residents.  The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic 'team player", dedicated to providing the highest level of quality care, and have at least 1-2 years of  PT experience.  The PT is responsible for evaluating, and assessing residents to create treatment plans, and patient care plans and establish long and short-term goals for each patient.  Additionally, the Physical Therapist will be accountable to communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, their families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Some Responsibilities:
  • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs physical therapy, as well as its programs and activities, in compliance with all rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
  • Meets with the administration, medical and nursing staff, as well as other related departments in planning therapy services.
  • Directing the physical therapy service and taking authority, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Assists the physician in evaluating the patient's level of function. 
  • Performing patient tests, measurements, and evaluations in order to document patient evaluations, plans of care, clinical notes, and progress reports in EMR system
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Must have an active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license and at least 1-2 years of experience
  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification 
  • Must be able to travel to each of the 4 Skilled Nursing Facilities (Williamsport (2), Milton)
  • Familiar with EMR software
