Recruit Secure is collaborating with a Skilled Nursing Facility in Ithaca, NY who is seeking an experienced, professional, personable and team-oriented Admissions and Infectious Control (IC) Nurse (LPN or RN) to join their team. The Admissions amd IC Nurse will be responsible to complete the Admissions process with particular regard to Infection Control for incoming and prospective residents. Additionally, the Admissions I/C duties include training the nursing staff on I/C practices, treatments, policies and adherence to isolation procedures. The successful candidate will have experience completing assessments for the  Admissions department within Skilled Nursing Home and have good understanding of intake policies. The  Infectious Control Nurse should have a I/C certification as well as being experienced in evaluating data for indicators of infectious causes and reporting to state and local departments of health. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing Salary.
