Recruit Secure is collaborating with a beautiful (100+ beds), highly-rated Skilled Nursing Home in Far Rockaway, NY that is seeking a highly motivated PART-TIME (about 28 hours/week) Registered Dietitian for direct hire. The Dietitian will be responsible for providing nutritional care for residents. The successful candidate will be a certified RD and have at least 1 year of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Home, with experience assessing, evaluating, and monitoring the effectiveness of dietary care plans with the goal of providing high-quality care. Additionally, the RD will possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with Medical and interdisciplinary teams, residents, and their families.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year’s experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC facilities
• Must be a Registered Dietitian.
• Knowledgeable with State and Federal DOH rules and regulations for Skilled Nursing Homes
• Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments.
• Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans
• Familiar with MDS, EMR software for Clinical Documentation
• Excellent communication skills
