Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large, well-established for-profit Healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and caring  Nurse Practitioner (N-P) for direct hire to their Skilled Nursing Home in Raritan, NJ.   This is a beautiful 100+ bed facility.  The focus of this position is to bring an additional level of clinical expertise to the facility to improve quality care and reduce re-hospitalizations.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with experience assessing, evaluating, creating care plans, and documenting care for complex conditions and an in-depth knowledge of treatment protocols and has worked with a geriatric population in a Skilled Nursing Home, Rehab, or a long-term facility.

The N-P will report to the Regional Clinical Director of the company and work closely with the Medical Director at the facility and the Chief Medical Officer.  This is a F/T position and scheduling is flexible (8 hr. days).  There are opportunities for career growth and additional training.  A competitive salary, excellent PTO and benefits, bonus plans, and other perks are offered.

Some Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and manage new patients
• Implementing orders and treatments
• Evaluate and follow new admissions
• Document status and care plans and monitor changes
• Notify the House physician and family of changes
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients

Requirements:

• Current NJ State RN license
• NJ Licensed Nurse Practitioner and at least 2-3 years as a practicing NP
• At least 2+ years’ experience and an in-depth understanding of geriatric care - a must
• DEA license
• Ability to collaborate with Nursing teams
• Ability to train Nursing teams on policies and protocols
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Homes is a big plus
• Basic Computer skills and experience with EMR software
• Excellent communication skills
