Recruit Secure, LLC is collaborating with a very stable, large and successful Substance Abuse Rehabilitation In-Patient facility located in the Brooklyn, NY area, that is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON).  The DON is responsible for managing the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility,  ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing strategies and practices for a high level of patient care. Additionally,  the DON is expected to manage, train, and motivate a large nursing staff.  The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience in a nursing leadership position in a Behavioral or Substance Abuse facility, (preferred) have excellent administrative skills, and have a strong ability to work with and develop clinical teams. This position's focus is cultivating a collaborative and supportive staff and providing exceptional health care.  This position reports to the facility Administrator. The management and staff have a long tenure at the facility and are very collaborative. The company is growing and there are career opportunities in the company. Requirements:

• A clinical background in Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse
• At least 3 years of experience in a behavioral health facility… In-patient substance Abuse is preferred.
• At least 2 years in a senior management role, working with RNs, Unit Managers, Supervisors, etc., to ensure policies and procedures are successful and followed.
• Strong Administrative skills
• Experience in hiring, managing, and mentoring collaborative teams
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• A deep commitment and passion to improving the lives of individuals affected by Substance Abuse disorders.
