Recruit Secure is collaborating with a for-profit Healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (N-P), with experience in Telehealth (preferred but not mandatory ) for direct hire. The company provides an NP to work with Assisted Living Facilities to provide quality care.  The NP will be assisted by an Assisted Living staff member on-site with the patient in order to recommend treatments, medications, or need for OT and PT, etc.

This is a full-time position (9:00 – 5:00 pm) on-site in Brooklyn, NY.  There may be some flexibility in the schedule.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with experience assessing and evaluating patients.  This position requires a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid processes, as well as the associated forms.  The NP will be responsible for all medical documentation,

Requirements:

• Current New York State Board Certified NP
• NY State Medicare and Medicaid credentials - a must
• Experience working with geriatric patients preferred.
• Strong Computer skills and experience with EMR software
• Experience assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing treatments and medications
• Creating or modifying care plans and familiar with best practices
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
