Description

Recruit Secure is collaborating with an established and successful healthcare company that is looking for a Physical Therapist - Floater to support 3 skilled Nursing Homes (in close proximity to one another) in Williamsport, PA area for direct hire. The Physical Therapist will be working in each of these facilities to plan, organize, and deliver Physical Therapy Services to the residents.  The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years of  PT experience, evaluating, and assessing residents to create treatment plans, and patient care plans and establish long and short-term goals, and be certified  Additionally, the Floater Physical Therapist must be able to work independently, have good time-management skills, and be dedicated to providing the highest quality care to each patient.  (There is some flexibility and autonomy in scheduling).  The facilities are well supported by Management and a Regional Director of Therapy.   There is a generous SIGN-ON BONUS, salary, full benefits package, and additional perks.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Some Responsibilities:
  • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs physical therapy, as well as its programs and activities, in compliance with all rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
  • Meets with the administration, medical and nursing staff, as well as other related departments in planning therapy services.
  • Directing the physical therapy service and taking authority, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Assists the physician in evaluating the patient's level of function. 
  • Performing patient tests, measurements, and evaluations in order to document patient evaluations, plans of care, clinical notes, and progress reports in EMR system
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Must have an active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license and at least 1-2 years of experience
  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification 
  • Must be able to travel to each of the 4 Skilled Nursing Facilities (Williamsport (2), Milton)
  • Familiar with EMR software
