Description

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a stable and highly successful healthcare company that owns several Assisted Living facilities (ALFs) in NJ and is looking for an experienced, energetic and compassionate RN - Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for direct hire to their team. The ADON will be responsible for supporting two of their facilities located in Livingston and Morristown, NJ (within 9 miles of each other) 2 days in one facility and 3 days in another. The ADON has flexibility in scheduling shifts. The focus of this position is to oversee the care of the residents to ensure that their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met while maintaining a high quality of care throughout the facilities. Additionally, the RN - ADON is expected to assure compliance with all DOH, State and Federal regulations and to meet the corporate policies and goals of the company. The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience within Assisted Living environments, be a licensed RN, have demonstrated nursing leadership, have a strong ability to work with and develop teams, have strong EMS and eMAR skills, and have an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry. Requirements:

  • BRN degree
  • Active NJ - RN license
  • Experience (at least 2-3 years) working as a Supervisor, or an Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled or Assisted Living Nursing Home.
  • Knowledgeable with State and Federal regulations and compliance guidelines
  • Able to participate and assist in the DOH Survey process.
  • Experience developing and fostering collaborative teams
  • Active participation in QAPI meetings
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • Develop, maintain, and revise patient care policies as needed
  • Strong problem-resolution skills
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance
