Description
Secure is collaborating with a large, well-established, for-profit Healthcare company that owns a network of Behavioral health treatment centers and is seeking a Regional Director of Psychiatry. The company owns many behavioral clinics and facilities (inpatient and outpatient) across several states. The focus of this position is to oversee 3 facilities across three states (3 additional facilities will be added in the near future) to deliver strategic plans to achieve corporate goals, address operational challenges, and ensure that the Psychiatric practices and policies are consistent throughout all of the company’s facilities. Most importantly, the Regional Director will supervise, mentor, and act as a resource to PMH-Nurse Practitioners who provide patient care in these facilities. The successful candidate will be a licensed Psychiatrist who has demonstrated success in staff leadership in a senior role and has a deep understanding of all federal, Joint Commission, state, local, and Department of Health guidelines and regulations. The position reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer of the company. Requirements:
- MD or DO degree with a residency in Psychiatry.
- 8-10 years of psychiatric practice and treatment experience in Mental Health with in-patient and out-patient facilities.
- 2-3 years in a Senior Leadership role, e.g., hiring and mentoring Clinical teams
- Experience as Psychiatrist -On-Record
- Experience in managing multiple facilities and or multiple states in a Hybrid (remote and on-site) mode.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying processes or performance problems and implementing solutions.
- Knowledgeable of State, Federal, and DOH Behavioral healthcare policies and regulations and familiarity with DOH survey processes.
- Excellent managerial, interpersonal, and communications skills
- Experience effectively leading team meetings (remotely and on-site) and treatment planning conferences and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Willing to obtain multiple state Psychiatric licenses (NJ, IL, CO, NV, CA, OK)
- Candidate can reside in any state
- Ability to travel.
