Recruit Secure is collaborating with a Skilled Nursing Home in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area that is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager (for the 7-3 shift). The Unit Manager will be responsible to manage their assigned unit. Nursing home/long term care experience is a must. DUTIES:

• The Unit Manager handles all supervisory duties for the unit.
• Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures.
• Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice.
• Maintain the standards of care for the unit.
• Review of Resident records & quality of care.
• Monitor overall care & review individual Residents’ cases
• Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families.
• Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years Long Term Care Experience
• Charge Nurse and/or supervisory experience
• Minimum 1 years Unit Manager experience
• Must hold valid PA RN License
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
