Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large (100+ beds), beautiful and highly rated Skilled Nursing Facility located in Queens (5-Towns area) that is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) ready for the next step as a Director of Nursing Services (DON). The DON will be responsible for maintaining the quality of care throughout the entire facility as well as managing, training, and supporting the nursing services staff.

The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience within Skilled Nursing Home environments and strong experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a relatively large facility and has shown nursing leadership, and a strong ability to work with and develop teams. In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance for the Skilled Nursing Homes is expected. Salary will be based on experience. A generous salary and benefit plans are offered.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

• BRN degree
• Active NY State license
• Experience (at least 2 years) working as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Home.
• Knowledgeable of State and Federal regulations and compliance guidelines
• Able to participate and assist in the DOH Survey process.
• Experience developing and fostering collaborative teams
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Develop, maintain, and revise patient care policies as needed
• Strong problem resolution skills
• Ensuring regulatory compliance
