Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large and growing medical group that is seeking multiple Nurse Practitioners for various Skilled Nursing Facilities located in the Williamsport , PA area for direct hire. This medical group's goal is to work hand in hand with the various facilities to improved quality of care, increase patient satisfaction and reduce hospitalization rates. The selected Nurse Practitioners will be responsible for continuum quality routine patient care and rehabilitation to their patients. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive salary, which is dependent upon experience. 

Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

• Conduct routine check-ups/examinations on patients to assess their health condition ad discover possible issues
• Diagnose, treat and manage both acute and chronic conditions
• Collects, records, and manage accurate patient information in EHR system
• Documents items such as: past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies assessment and plan
• Prescribe and interpret lab and imaging tests to obtain more information for underlying infections or abnormalities
• Administer or prescribe treatments
• Vaccinates patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases
• Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health
• Consult with appropriate medical specialists when necessary; refer patient to subspecialist within network
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients

• Remain up-to-speed with developments and best practices in medicine by attending conferences and seminars

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania License as a Nurse Practitioner
• National Board Certified
• American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• EMR/EHR experience
