Description

Recruit Secure, LLC is collaborating with a very stable and successful Substance Abuse Rehabilitation In-Patient facility located in the Brooklyn, NY area, that is seeking an experienced and dynamic  Nurse Practitioner to support the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility,  ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing strategies and practices for a high level of patient care. The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience as a Nurse-Practitioner in a Behavioral or Substance Abuse facility (preferred) and have a strong ability to work with clinical teams. This position's focus is to provide exceptional health care.  The shift is 10:00 a.m.to 6:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday).  This position reports to the Director of Nursing. The management and staff have a long tenure at the facility and are very collaborative. There are growth opportunities in the company. A competitive salary and a PTO package are offered.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Requirements:

  • A Board Certified Nurse Practioner license from  NY  
  • At least 1 year of experience in a behavioral health facility… Inpatient Substance Abuse is preferred.
  • Experience assessing,  diagnosing and prescribing treatments for substance abuse patients.
  • Creating care plans and familiar with best practices
  • Familiar with EMR systems
  • Excellent Administrative skills
  • Experience in working and mentoring collaborative teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A deep commitment and passion to improving the lives of individuals affected by Substance use disorders.
