Recruit Secure is collaborating with a for-profit Healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (N-P), or a Physician Assistant (PA), or an MD, with experience in Telehealth for direct hire. The company provides an NP or PA to work with Home Care Nursing agencies to work with the agencies' and their nursing team to improve quality care. This position requires 3 full days (9:00 – 6:00 pm) on-site in Brooklyn, NY.  There may be flexibility in the schedule as to which days.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience assessing, evaluating, and documenting patient treatments and care plans, and have an in-depth knowledge of treatment protocols and best practices.  Via Telehealth services, the NP, PA or MD may recommend changes in treatments, medications, need for OT and PT, and additional resources (supplies), etc.

This position requires a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid processes, as well as the associated forms.  The NP, PA, MD will be responsible for all medical documentation, but the company does have Scribes to assist in some of the paperwork.

Requirements:

• Current New York State Board Certified NP, PA, or MD license
• Experience working with Home Care patients and agencies is mandatory
• At least 1 year of experience in a Telehealth setting.
• Strong Computer skills and experience with EMR software
• Experience assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing treatments and medications
• Creating or modifying care plans and familiar with best practices
• Ability to collaborate with Nursing teams and Medical Directors.
• Excellent Administrative skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
