Description

Recruit Secure is collaborating with an established and very stable Healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and energetic Regional Clinical Nurse (RN). The Regional Nurse will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of five Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and three Assisted Living facilities in the Orlando, FL area. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in staff leadership, quality improvement programs, strategic planning, and clinical program development and implementation. The Regional RN should have a solid understanding of clinical operations in the healthcare industry and specifically with long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • The Regional Clinical RN is responsible for the overall health and wellness of the residents of the 5 Skilled Nursing Homes (SNF) and 3 Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) in the Orlando area.
  • Manages clinical operations and oversees the operational efficiency and quality of clinical services for each facility.
  • Oversight, training, and monitoring of best practices and Standards of Care outcomes, safety, and risk management
  • Ensures compliance with all State, Federal, and corporate regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate and implement plans for improvement if necessary.
  • Maintain State and Federal DOH regulatory compliance for Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities
  • Supports Directors of Nursing for the region. Assists in hiring, training, and development of Directors of Nurses and Assistant Directors of Nursing (ADON)
  • Assist with budgeting and monitoring of ongoing financial health of the facilities.

  • Ability to act as a Director of Nursing if necessary.
  • Monitor DOH Survey preparedness for both SNFs and ALFs.
  • Monitor Quality Indicators and assists with QAPI plans

Requirements/Skills:

  • Current Florida RN license
  • 7-10 years of experience in long-term care and operations
  • 4- 5 years experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Regional experience is strongly preferred.
  • Direct management or supervisory experience is required. Prior experience with training and establishing care plans.
  • BS or BA in Nursing - strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to deal effectively with diverse skill sets and personalities.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and manage several projects at one time.
  • Travel required.
