Recruit Secure is collaborating with a stable and successful for-profit Healthcare company that is seeking an experienced, dynamic and energetic Regional Operations Director/Operator for direct hire. The Regional Operations Director will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of several Skilled Nursing and Behavioral facilities (and growing) in Alabama.  These facilities have strong Administrators.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in staff leadership, business development and financial management in the healthcare industry. 

The salary for this position is dependent on experience and qualifications. A benefits package and bonus potential are offered. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans to ensure the achievement of business objectives
  • Evaluate current programs, policies and procedures and apply changes as necessary
  • Develop and monitor budgets and contracts. Accountable for revenue and business growth
  • Well-versed in setting up and monitoring payor sources, i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, etc.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all facilities to ensure that regulatory compliance is ongoing
  • Monitor and keep up to date with Dept. of Health regulations and compliance affecting Skilled Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Retirement Communities.
  • Share best practices to mitigate risks.
  • Resolve any issues in a positive proactive manner.  Report issues and recommendations to Management
  • Assist with Marketing initiatives to promote the organization (and individual offices) by recommending strategies to develop relationships with community, local businesses and organizations,

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2- 3 years of experience as a Regional Director of Operations within a healthcare setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Care Administration or equivalent experience
  • Active Alabama LNHA license - a must.
  • Extensive knowledge of current federal, state, local, and corporate guidelines and regulations governing management in healthcare operations and in particular, Alabama.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare procedures and applicable policies
  • Well-versed in Dept. of Heath regulations, Labor law, OSHA, etc.
  • Experienced in preparing and maintaining budgets
  • Superior communication skills...ability to communicate and work harmoniously to support staff and communicate with the Executive Management team.
  • Ability to travel throughout the state.
