Description

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a for-profit Healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and caring RN Nurse Practitioners (N-P) with expertise in Wound Care for direct hire. The company provides Nurse-Practitioners to Skilled Nursing homes in the Philadelphia, PA area to work with the facility's nursing team to improve quality care and reduce re-hospitalizations. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner will lead a Wound Prevention Program in the facility responsible for screening new admissions, assessments and risks and implementing precautionary measures.  The

N-P will be supporting 3 facilities (clustered geographically) and will be about 3-4 days of work.  The schedules have some flexibility.  The company provides a high level of support (on-going Physician collaboration) and dedicated Scribes for documentation.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with experience assessing, evaluating, and documenting skin and wound conditions, and will have an in-depth knowledge of treatment protocols.

A benefit and PTO package is included and multiple bonuses for additional services (i.e., Debrivements, Skin Graphs, etc.).

Requirements:

  • PA Licensed Nurse Practitioner
  • Wound Care certifications a big plus
  • At least 1- 2+ years’ experience in the care and treatment of wounds
  • In-depth understanding of Wound Care protocols and treatments
  • Ability to train Nursing teams on policies and protocols for the prevention and care of wounds
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Homes a plus but not mandatory
  • Basic Computer skills and experience with EMR software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborative with Nursing teams
