Recruit Secure is proud to partner with a well-established and secure healthcare company that is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) for their.Skilled Nursing Facility (300+ beds) in the Syracuse, NY area.

This is a direct hire opportunity offering a very competitive salary, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, and a generous PTO package.  Additionally, there is a high Retention bonus offered after 1 year of service.  Relocation (within/out of NY state) expenses offered, however DON must have a NY state RN license.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Director of Nursing will be responsible for::

• Overseeing the overall quality of care throughout the facility.
• Leading, developing, and motivating a team-oriented nursing staff.
• Ensuring full compliance with Federal, State, and Department of Health (DOH) regulations.
• Fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment with the backing of a strong and experienced management team.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Must have several years (minimum 0f 4-5 years) of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
• Supervisory experience in a large nursing facility (250 + beds) preferred
• A proven track record of nursing team development and mentorship.
• In-depth understanding of clinical operations, regulatory compliance.
• Experience preparing and leading DOH surveys
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Active NY RN license
