Recruit Secure is collaborating with an established, highly-rated, and growing Behavioral Healthcare company that is searching for an experienced, compassionate, and energetic licensed Psychiatrist for their Addiction Recovery outpatient facility in NYC. This is a direct hire to the team. The on-duty Psychiatrist will lead and manage a clinical treatment team in the care of patients with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.  The focus of the position is to provide and oversee treatment plans and medication management for patients, ensure regulatory compliance of the facility, and implement psychiatric and pharmacological best practices and guidelines.  The ideal candidate will be a New York-licensed Psychiatrist (MD or DO) with outpatient substance abuse experience, demonstrated success in staff leadership, and a deep understanding of policies, guidelines, and DOH regulations governing Behavioral and Substance Abuse facilities. Additionally, we are seeking a professional who can address operational issues and is interested in professional development and growing their career with the company.

Requirements:

• Board-Certified DO or MD and Valid NY State Medical license
• DEA certification
• Experience in Substance Abuse and Addictology (cert. not mandatory)
• Experience working with Outpatient services and OASIS regulations (highly preferred)
• Compassionate, non-judgemental, and patient-centered approach to care
• Experience working with and mentoring interdisciplinary clinical teams.
