Recruit Secure is collaborating with a beautiful and highly rated Skilled Nursing Center for Pediatrics (100-beds) in the Wanaque, NJ area that is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Pediatric Manager for direct hire. The Center is the largest and most trusted facility in the area.  The Medical staff are leaders in their field, and they employ state-of-the-art protocols to achieve a high standard of quality care. The facility provides a state of the art Respiratory Care Program.  The staff is very friendly, encouraging and work cooperatively.

The Pediatric Manager will be responsible for directing the nursing staff and overall operations of the assigned Nursing Units.  Additionally, the Pediatric Manager supports the Director of Nursing in achieving a high level of patient care and supports the patients, families, and staff.  The successful candidate will have experience as an Pediatric Nurse in a Skilled Nursing or Rehabilitation facility and has successfully mentored and supervised staff, interacted with all levels of interdisciplinary teams and Physicians, and is familiar with DOH regulations. We are seeking a caring, compassionate, and kind professional, interested in growing their career.  A competitive salary, and  medical benefits, and other perks are offered..

• The Manager handles all supervisory duties for the unit(s)
• Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures.
• Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice.
• Maintain the standards of care for the unit.
• Review of Resident records & plans of care
• Monitor overall care,
• Use MDS and EMR software

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years Long Term or Rehab Care Experience
• At least 1-2 years of Supervisory experience
• Must hold a valid NJ RN License
• Experience with Respiratory Care - Vent Units, nebulizers, etc.
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
